I am a freelance conference curator/moderator presently working on the following projects:
- Next12, 8-9 May 2012, Berlin. An international conference with over 1500 delegates, combining an international keynote track with concurrent tracks on special topics. As the curator of the international program I put together the international track. Topic in 2012: Post Digital! This video provides an impression of the event.
- Mediapark Jaarcongres, 21 June 2012, Hilversum, Mediapark Studio 21. Annual event for the Dutch media industry, focused on changes in the broadcasting and media industry.
- Wired2012 26-27 October 2012, London. After the succes of the first Wired event in October 2011, Wired will once again bring together the Wired100 and many more for an exclusive two day conference. I curate this event together with Wired UK editor David Rowan.
- TEDxAmsterdam, 30 November 2012, Amsterdam, Stadsschouwburg. TEDxAmsterdam is an independently organised TED event. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. TEDxAmsterdam is an English language, invitation-only event organised by volunteers.
I am Member of the Board of Museumnight Amsterdam and the TEDxAmsterdam foundation, and of the advisory board of Co Iemes, part of the Fontys School for the Creative Industry. I regularly work for the Immovator Cross Media Network in Hilversum on a variety of projects.
